Heather Sant
Executive Director

Heather has provided effective, innovative senior management expertise to JobStart since 1997, originally as the Director, Programs and Services, and since the Spring of 2006 as the Executive Director. Her impressive experience providing strategic leadership in the Employment Sector for the past 30 years has been invaluable, as JobStart has dramatically grown and identified new and innovative ways to deliver services. Heather is known as an effective relationship builder. She has developed long lasting relationships with representatives at all levels of government, the United Way Toronto, corporations such as Microsoft Canada and numerous community agencies.

Diane Moore
Executive Assistant

Diane has held a number of administrative positions at JobStart, and has always shown commitment and pride in her role. Diane's administrative expertise has evolved with the agency over the past ten years, with the goal of becoming an Executive Assistant. She has successfully completed Humber College's Continuing Education Program and successfully graduated with her "Executive Assistant Certificate".

Michael Raymond
Director, Programs and Services

Michael has a notable and lengthy background in the Social Services Sector. His experience encompasses front line positions, Manager and now Director, Programs and Services. He has been responsible for initiating and developing several new program initiatives from conception to implementation and evaluation. Michael has served as Chair and a member of several community Boards. He received the Ontario Association of Youth Employment Centre's (OAYEC) Award of Merit for outstanding work with multi-barriered youth. Michael's engaging personality is very evident as he relates to clients from all walks of life and of all ages.

Julia Knapp
Director, Programs and Services

Julia has an extensive background managing employment related programs and services. Prior to working at JobStart, Julia worked as a Consultant with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities responsible for the FUTURES program and the Pre-Employment Preparation component for "at risk" youth. She is well know for her experience working with all levels of government and her commitment to partnership ventures.

Stephanie Hawkey
Director of Finance

Stephanie is the most recent member of JobStart’s Executive team. She brings with her an extensive background in finance, having worked with major consulting partnerships and in the charitable sector. She is a member of the JobStart Finance Committee and is responsible for working with established financial policies and procedures to ensure that JobStart meets all financial and contractual obligations.
