Customer Service
Deliver programs and services that meet the needs of our clients, community, employers, funders, and partners 

Strategies:
  1. Achieve mandated outcomes in a timely, professional manner and work with government to help refine and re-position the services expected of JobStart
  2. Create new program opportunities based on the emerging needs of clients, community, employers, funders, partners and other key stakeholders
  3. Improve communication
  4. Explore opportunities and the feasibility to expand our geographic service area
  5. Enhance and increase the visibility and recognition of JobStart’s brand 
  6. Continue to strive to be a leader in the community

Capacity Building
Effective use of all JobStart resources with a particular focus on human resources (employees).

Strategies:
  1. Develop a consistent management approach to the application of all Human Resource Policies 
  2. Build the capacity of staff to ensure program quality continues to be delivered and to achieve the outcomes expected within the timelines established
  3. Celebrate success
  4. Maintain flexibility to respond and continually adapt to a constantly changing operating environment
  5. Broaden volunteer involvement to support enhanced program delivery outcomes

Internal Systems
Continually develop and enhance organizational processes and technologies to achieve service delivery excellence.

Strategies:
  1. Achieve deliverables in a timely, professional manner
  2. Work to refine the delivery of JobStart services to meet and/or exceed funder and community expectations
  3. Simplify and refine internal program and service planning and delivery processes in order to maintain flexibility to adapt to funder requirements and the changes in the labour market
  4. Refine internal communication methods and systems to ensure clients, employers and staff have access to timely and relevant information
  5. Streamline IT systems and applications to support funder and JobStart requirements

Finance
Strengthen financial capacity to maintain and expand the service delivery infrastructure.

Strategies:
  1. Increase and diversify the revenue base to create funding stability
  2. Strengthen financial systems to effectively and efficiently manage and deploy financial resources
  3. Effectively manage financial deliverables to achieve client, employer, funder, staff and stakeholder expectations
