Julia Knapp, Director Programs & Services at JobStart, receives a certificate of recognition at the ‘GEMS‘ of the Lake Shore annual event, Monday, May 9th, 2011 from MPP Laurel Broten
Etobicoke - Lake Shore.

The Gem of the Lake Shore event was created to appreciate small businesses and service organizations that are unique to South Etobicoke and make the community a more vibrant place to live.

Anyone from the general public can recognize their favourite Etobicoke-Lake Shore small business or community organization within Ward 6 boundaries. The gem submissions are reviewed by a community panel in conjunction with the Lake Shore Joint Business Improvement Area (BIA) committee.

This year’s recognition event was held on Monday evening, May 9th at the Assembly Hall. JobStart was delighted to receive a certificate…

“In recognition of the exceptional service that your organization provides to the residents of Etobicoke -Lake Shore.”
